Physics department publishes in a national journal
Two final-year projects from the Physics department appear in this quarter's issue, both with undergraduate first authors.
Both papers came out of the mandatory internship semester, and both list undergraduates as first authors — unusual at this level, and the result of a deliberate decision by the department to let students carry their own projects through to submission.
